2017 Celebrity Death March Takes its First Victim: Superfly

Everyone was shocked by the number of celebrities that croaked in 2016. In reality, there really weren’t MORE celebrities that died, but bigger, more popular names.

The 2017 Celebrity Death March just gave us our first major celebrity death, Jimmy “SuperFly” Snuka. (Editor’s Note: There have been a few other notable deaths, including Canadian Actor Tony Rosato, but you really don’t know who he is, do you?)

Snuka was one of every little kid’s favorite wrestlers from the WWF (now WWE) in the 80s. At the time, nobody jumped off the top rope like he did. Even back then, he seemed like he was bat-shit crazy and it turns out he actually may have been! Recently his wife told a judge that they were having difficulty keeping Snuka at his house because he thought he was late for his next wrestling gig. This tended to happen during some bouts with psychosis and dementia.

Besides wrestling, Snuka also gained fame in the news for getting charged with third-degree murder and involuntary manslaughter of his girlfriend back in the early 1980s.  However, those charges were recently dropped.

R.I.P Superfly!

If the Celebrity Death March was interviewed by “Mean” Gene Okerlund, it would look in the camera, with it’s eyes bugging and drool coming our of it’s mouth yelling, “WHO’S NEXT?!?!?!?”
